Q: Describe the theme of your wedding and how your style influenced the design of your invitations?

A: Initially our wedding theme was very simple, casual and country, yet it ended up being elegant with a touch of old country charm. We wanted to incorporate the beautiful colours of the surrounding nature, so that was the main element in which our inspiration came from. I think that the striking florals present in the Hydrangea Rose design reflected this accurately.

Q: Which Cristina Re products did you use to produce your invitations?

A: I decided to use 2 different colour schemes throughout the wedding stationery suite. For the actual invitations, I wanted to embrace a pretty in pink feel so opted to use the gorgeous Hydrangea Rose design and teamed it with the beautiful Blush and luscious Luxury Linen in plain design.
For our table settings, it was the Enchanted Birds print which best captured the splendour in the grass feel.
Upon reflection, with the presence of a mixture of colours such as pink, purple, aqua and green, the whole stationery suite ended up having a gorgeous eclectic and earthy feel.

Q: Describe how you met and the marriage proposal.

A: We were introduced by friends on Robert's 29th Birthday. It was love at love at first sight. The proposal was made on an overnight little getaway in the City, where he presented me with a stunning Pink Sapphire diamond ring that he designed himself (knowing how much I love pink!).

Q: Describe your wedding day - your memories and highlights of the ceremony and reception.

A: Our wedding day was magical! We married in the late afternoon on a gorgeous sunny day under our favourite tree at our family's farm in Eildon. It was the best day of our lives. My favourite part of the day was at the river where we had our bridal party photographs taken. We were surrounded by stunning scenery on a glorious sunny afternoon. It was very relaxed and not one person could wipe the smile off their face. We felt so privileged to have shared our special day with our wonderful family and friends at our favourite place in the world. It was just magic.
